　　友情提示：在涉及到跟名词相关的考点时，要注意名词的可数与不可数的问题;若出现的是主谓一致的问题，就要用我曾经讲过的“语法一致，意义一致，就近”三原则加以判断，只有确定了主语才能知道谓语动词是什么。

　　①.There _____ in his room.

　　A.are too much furnitures B.is too many furnitures

　　C.are too many furniture D.is too much furniture

　　解析：本题的关键所在就是furniture是一个不可数名词，因此在词尾加s的，或前面出现too many的均不符合本题，应被排除，因此答案是D。

　　②.Neither of the employees nor the boss ____ satisfied with the profits.

　　A.were B.was C.are D.have been

　　解析：neither...nor连接两个并列主语时，遵循：就近原则。谓语的数与邻近主语保持一致，所以谓语由the boss决定，因此选择B。

　　③.A library with five thousand books _____ to the nation as a gift.

　　A. is offered B. has offered C. are offered D. have offered

　　解析：句子不难理解，关键要找到主语，主语是a library; 而不是five thousand books,它仅仅是状语。而且还是被动。所以答案是A。
