【例句】Apart from Kelly, Joy will go to swim tomorrow.

除了Kelly外，Joy明天也会去游泳。

【总结】apart from具有多重意义：既可表示besides，也可以表示exept或exept for，还可以表示without的意思。

2.apply for 申请

【例句】Don't apply for that job: you're in danger of overreaching yourself.

不要申请那份工作，以免有不自量力之嫌。
