1、evil /ˈiːvl/
evil是常见的重点词,作名词意为“邪恶,罪行”,引申为“坏处,弊端”,evil也可以作形容词,意为“邪恶的,恶毒的,道德败坏的”,也可指某物“令人不舒服的,令人讨厌的”。
There's always a conflict between good and evil in his plays.
他的戏剧中总是有善恶之间的斗争。
Drug-addiction is one of today's great social evils.
吸毒成瘾是现今社会的一大罪恶。

9、excel /ɪkˈsel/
