商务英语复习资料：并购程序加速 “并购”怎么说

　　The assessment of merger and acquisition (M&A) proposals will be fast-tracked to facilitate an increase in deals next year, the Ministry of Commerce said.

　　Shang Ming, director of the ministry's anti-monopoly bureau, said the sluggish global economy had slowed down outright expansion by companies and pushed them to boost sales by M&As.

　　Plans by global companies to expand quickly in China have also contributed to the increasing number of M&A cases, Shang said.

　　在上述报道中，"merger and acquisition"就是“并购”的意思，缩写为M&A。"merger"是指“合并”而"acquisition"则是“收购”。“兼并”指两家或者更多的独立企业，公司合并组成一家企业，通常由一家占优势的公司吸收一家或者多家公司。“收购”指一家企业用现金或者有价证券购买另一家企业的股票或者资产，以获得对该企业的全部资产或者某项资产的所有权，或对该企业的控制权。二者一般合称“并购”。
