利比亚“全国过渡委员会”新闻发言人古贾与利比亚军事委员会主席贝尔哈吉(Abdul Hakim Belhaj)刚刚分别证实，该国前领导人卡扎菲在其家乡苏尔特被捕后因伤重死亡。
此前有消息称，卡扎菲在苏尔特被执政当局士兵逮捕，双腿受伤，后来因为伤重身亡。利比亚“全国过渡委员会”召开了一个发布会，发言人古贾称，卡扎菲已经死亡。
利比亚军事委员会主席贝尔哈吉也证实了该消息。他表示，卡扎菲在被逮捕后死亡。
此前，利比亚执政当局在苏尔特的前线指挥官阿布-萨拉拉赫告诉记者，他们已经逮捕了卡扎菲，不过卡扎菲受了重伤，被救护车拉走，生死不明。
目前，媒体已经发布了一张用手机拍摄的据称为卡扎菲的被捕照片。照片中，卡扎菲血流满面，神色恍惚。
