1、articulate /ɑːˈtɪkjəleɪt/
articulate作形容词，意为“口齿伶俐的，善于表达的”。
The child was unable to offer an articulate description of what she had witnessed. 孩子无法对她所目睹的事情作出清楚的描述。
In my eye, she is an intelligent and highly articulate young woman. 在我眼中，她是一个聪明过人且口齿伶俐的年轻女子。
articulate也可作及物动词，意为“清晰地发音或吐字”，引申为“清楚地表达”。
He was so drunk that he could barely articulate his words. 他醉得话都说不清楚了。
Many people are opposed to the new law, but have had no opportunity to articulate their opposition. 很多人不赞成这项新法律，但是却没有机会表达他们的反对意见。
2、artificial /ˌɑːtɪˈfɪʃəl/
